When it’s hot, my appetite decreases and I find it hard to cook or bake. I purposely try to make “lighter” meals in the summertime, because my hubbie and I RUN together. Not always an easy thing to do. His stride & my stride are two different strides! His legs are at least 6″ longer, so I will just assume that I’m getting the better workout, since my legs stay with his legs. He could run me under the table . . . he just doesn’t dare!
As I type this post, the light from the office window is barely peaking through the snow covered panes. The wind is howling, and the branches on our massive pine trees are drooping from the weight of mother natures fury today. I like it. It gives me a sense of peace and a sense of home. […]
Some days . . .You know those days? My sweet half actually made me get back into the bed, and start over! Campbellskitchen.com offers recipes like this; Toasted Sesame with Garlic & Ginger Sauce with Chicken & Fettuccine. You can make it in thirty minutes flat!
Of all the posts I’ve ever done . . . I’m most excited about this one. My search for the PERFECT pizza crust is now over! I’m serious now. I’ve probably tried at least 100 different pizza crust recipes. Some were good . . . some were bad . . . but none were worth […]
Oh . . . I have a great, easy and delicious dinner idea for you. This recipe has been making the rounds on Pinterest, but I believe it originated from Big Oven. This is one of those dinners that you can throw together in 30 minutes! My sweet half even gave it a thumbs up. The […]
I really like ribs. I’m picky though. They can’t be mostly fat and little meat. That’s why I like these ribs! These Country Style Pork Ribs are oh so delicious & easy to prepare. This recipe came from Genola Kandler, who was a awesome cook. She cooked for a huge farming operation of hungry men! Everytime […]
Do you need an easy, delicious meal . . . fit for a king? It’s very good, but quite difficult to take a picture of. You’ll get the picture! This slow cooker version creates very tender chicken and scrumptious golden sauce. If you don’t have a slow cooker, that’s o.k. You can just bake […]
2012 New, Fresh, Uncluttered. Last year brought my family blessings galore and for that . . . I’m very grateful. Two Thousand Eleven didn’t come without any hitches, but as I look around at the sadness and trials that others have faced, I quickly realize that I have nothing to complain about. I’m very thankful […]
Tonight’s dinner was good. It was better than good . . . it was delicious. It tastes like a fancy schmancy restaurant kind of dinner! I incorporated the sauce for my Favorite Pasta dish and simply poured it over Browned Chicken Breasts. An hour in the oven (covered with foil) and you have a meal […]
I’m quite excited to share this recipe with you. Really I am. 5 star . . . in my opinion! My sweeter half even had two helpings. That rarely occurs, he’s always watching his figure. lol. He even went so far as to say . . . “Those were good.” I combined two recipes, to […]
When I die and go to heaven . . . I sure hope they’re serving this. If you want a fast but ultra delicious meal in just minutes, this is the dish. The sauce is creamy, cheesy and crazy good! You could easily add chicken, ham or any vegetable you would like. It’s soooooo simple, that […]
