When you throw all calorie caution to the wind….these are the bars to make! They have a tender shortbread crust, and are then topped with melted butterscotch , chocolate, toffee & nuts. So delicious &
2 cups butter, softened
1 cup white sugar
4 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons cornstarch
8 oz melted butterscotch chips
8 oz melted semi sweet chocolate
8 oz English Toffee bits
1/2 to 3/4 cups chopped nuts of any kind

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Cream softened butter thoroughly. Slowly add sugar. Sift flour and corn starch before adding. Mix well. Press into an ungreased pan 9 x 13 x 1 1/2 inches. Bake 30 minutes or until very light brown. Melt the butterscotch chips in microwave or saucepan and spread on top of the shortbread, repeat with semi sweet chocolate. Sprinkle on the toffee bits & nut evenly. Gently press down into chocolate. Let cool until chocolate begins to set. Cut into squares and enjoy!
