SAUSAGE & TOMATO RIGATONI
Here is a Kraft recipe, that I haven’t tried as of yet, but I believe I will very soon. It would be very easy to make, and the ratings all show 5 star! You could use turkey sausage to save on a few calories. Actually it’s pretty tasty. Turkey bacon also tastes pretty darn good.
*I’m sorry for the lack of recipes posted lately. All my spare time has been spent practicing the piano for a huge choir program. More great recipes will come soon…..I promise.
YOU WILL NEED:
4 cups rigatoni pasta (8 oz.), uncooked
1 lb. Italian sausage, cut into chunks or ground
1 red onion, sliced (OPT)
1/4 cup tomato paste
1/4 cup KRAFT Sun-Dried Tomato Dressing
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1/4 cup KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese
DIRECTIONS:
COOK pasta as directed on package. MEANWHILE, brown sausage in large nonstick skillet;
drain. Stir in onions and tomato paste; cover. Cook 15 min. or until onions are tender and
sausage is cooked through, stirring occasionally. Stir in dressing. TOSS sausage mixture with pasta. Sprinkle with parsley and cheese.
