I wish this blog had “smell – a – vision”
cuz
if it did,
You would run to your kitchen and bake this right now!
This dessert is one of my very favorites, and it’s certainly one of the easiest to make. It will only take you about 15 minutes to throw together for tonights Dessert. Top it with a dallop of whipped Cream or Ice Cream. It’s good hot or Cold. You can make this with just one can of pie filling if you want them to be more like bars, however the berrier the better! I used a can of Blueberry filling and a can of Cherry filling and mixed them together. Trust me . . . it’s Perfection made easy.

RAZZLEBERRY CRUNCH
1 Stick (cube) Butter
1 pkg. white or yellow cake mix (dry)
2 cans cherry or blueberry pie filling
*or mix together one can of each
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans or almonds (opt)
DIRECTIONS:
Cut 1 stick of butter (room temperatur) into 1 pkg. dry cake mix until crumbly. Reserve half of this mixture for the top. Pat the remaining mixture lightly into oblong 13×9 greased glass baking pan. Spread 2 cans of pie filling over the crumb mixture. Blend 1/2 cup chopped nuts and the reserved mixture together. Squeeze crumb mixture firmly in palm of hand, to form pea sized chunks, & Sprinkle over the top of the pie filling. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees, or until golden brown on the top & the bottom. Make sure that the bottom is also golden brown. Serve warm with whipped Cream or a scoop of ice cream.

My sister in law makes this. The first time I had it at her house, I asked for the recipe. She grinned and said it’s so easy. I never would have thought it was this simple.
Your combination looks delicious.
