It’s spring people . . . Why is it snowing today?

O.k. then . . . I’ll adapt!

If flowers aren’t blooming & eggs aren’t being layed where you live . . . build your own!

This is something the little ones can help you with, cuz it’s nothing fancy schmancy.

Make some Marshmallow Rice Crispy Treats. Just follow the directions on the back of a bag of Marshmallows.  I tried something new.  Once the marshmallows and the melted butter were melted together, I added 3 Tablespoons of Vanilla Cake mix.  I’d read that it makes the treats . . . unbelievable.  Well, I really didn’t notice much of a difference.

I have a cold, so maybe that’s why I didn’t taste it.

I also used these thingamajigs from Wilton.

Aren’t they cute . . . I used the smallest one for my flowers.

I used the one on the right for a sort of egg shape.

Start by pressing out your flowers, and use the small egg shape for the cracks in between.

Melt some white chocolate on very low heat.

You can also use the microwave, but watch it closely.  White chocolate scorches easily.

You could also use Milk or Semi sweet as well.

Once it was melted, I added 1 Tablespoon of Crisco Oil to the chocolate.

This will give it a sheen, and keep it from setting up so quickly.

Dunk.

Lift it out of the chocolate with a fork and let the excess drip off.

Lay the flowers on a parchment lined cookie sheet that has been topped with a baking rack.

Add any sprinkles you like, and give your flowers a center.

I happened to use M&M’s, and Cadbury eggs cuz that’s all I had!

Once I had dipped all my flowers and tiny eggs . . . I still had melted chocolate.

I grabbed a bag of stick pretzels.

Mix . . . Mix

Just use enough melted Chocolate so that all your pretzels are covered generously.

After all . . . you want to build a proper nest.

Build your nests any size you like, and while the chocolate is still wet . . .

Stick a PEEP on top and lay some eggs!

Don’t you wish having babies was that easy?
