Marshmallow Caramel Popcorn

 O.k.

. . . just wondering,

How many of you have read . . . Shades of Grey?

I haven’t.

Honestly . . . I haven’t.

This blog can’t compete with that!

Trust me, this will be much sweeter.

I think . . . you should make this Caramel Marshmallow popcorn BEFORE you read those books.

Trust me, you have time.

It takes 10 minutes tops.

I’ll prove it.

Start by popping some popcorn.

We love our oil popper.

You will need at least 12 cups of popped popcorn.

I’m doubling up on the basic recipe.

Melt your butter and brown sugar for 2 minutes in the microwave.

Stir it up.

Add your marshmallows . . . toss them around in the butter mixture.

Put your bowl in the microwave and melt those marshmallows.

2 minutes tops.

Stir to combine.

Pour over the top of your popcorn and stir until it’s all coated evenly.

This recipe has been pinned so many times on Pinterest, that I decided it must be really good!

It is.

That’s it . . . now you can get back to reading those books.

I’m too busy snapping pictures of food  . . . and

Look what was hiding in my tree today.

I ran to my backyard and took his picture.

The smell of these sweet blossoms entices him, or her.

See . . . Much more exciting than Shades of Grey!

FYI:

I also want to show you our favorite way to EAT popcorn.

It’s this stuff.

It’s amazing sprinkled over popcorn.  You won’t even miss the butter.

I used to steal the cheese packets from Kraft Macaroni & Cheese . . . seriously.

Guess what.  You can buy it in bulk.  HERE

Just think, you can color each page of Shades of Grey . . . ORANGE!

I haven’t read it. Have no interest in it. Heard it has a lot of S&M in it. Not my style at all. Did you see how Ellen DeGeneres made fun of it today on her show? Or was it yesterday? Anyway, haven’t read it and won’t.

The popcorn looks amazing. I have to make it. Thanks for sharing.ReplyCancel

I started reading the books to see what the hoopla was about… gotta say, everyone who has been making fun of how badly the Twilight books are written? Yeah, they need to focus a little of that over on these books… however, they are quite steamy *fan fan fan*. I’ll probably finish just to see how it ends up (and because it’s super super simply written so it won’t take me but an afternoon)…but yeah, I don’t really get why it’s SOOOOOOOO popular. (Says the Twilight/Harry Potter fangirl… *laugh*)ReplyCancel

I haven’t read it either. I’ve had enough fiction for one month. (Call me weird, I just really prefer non-fiction.)
By the way… caramel marshmallow popcorn? Genius.ReplyCancel
