A few times a year, I allow myself to be a real “dip!” I eat whatever I want, and pay for it later, by exercising like crazy. New Years is one of those “dip times.” This dip is fast and super simple to throw together in a crock pot or slow cooker, and serve at one of those dippy parties. Even the pickiest of dips in your family will enjoy this cheesy salsa Chili dip. Serve this with tortilla chips, crackers, and cut up vegetables. It’s really quite addictive, so be careful……don’t be too big of a dip!
CHEESY SALSA CHILI DIP
1 lb. (16 oz.) Velveeta cheese , cut into 1/2-inch cubes
1 cup of your favorite Salsa
*I use the Homemade brand Chili sauce….love it!
(the one in the cute little round bottles)
2 cans of chili without beans
Directions:
MIX ingredients in microwaveable bowl. MICROWAVE on HIGH 5 min. or until VELVEETA is completely melted, stirring after 3 min. SERVE with tortilla chips, assorted cut-up fresh vegetables.
*I place my dip in a slow cooker on low, so that it stays warm while serving. Easy and delicious!
