BREADED PORK CHOPS

For dinner tonight, you can’t beat this great recipe. This is a great way to dress up lean pork chops. Try it……you won’t be disappointed.
INGREDIENTS

2 cups crushed butter crackers like Ritz
garlic salt to taste
ground black pepper to taste
3 eggs, beaten
4 to 6 pork chops
1/3 to 1/2 cup butter or margarine melted in bottom of baking pan
 BAKED PORK CHOP DIRECTIONS

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

2. In a shallow bowl combine crushed crackers, garlic salt and pepper; mix well. In a separate bowl beat eggs.

3. Dip your pork chops in the egg batter and then in the cracker mixture. Place the pork chops in a casserole dish with melted butter. Cover and bake for 45 minutes, turning pork chops over half way through cooking time. Remove foil for the last 5 to 10 minutes of baking to crisp the tops of the chops.

PAN FRIED PORK CHOP DIRECTIONS
Use the same recipe as above, but instead of oven baking,
add prepared pork chops to hot skillet with about 1/4 cup marg or butter.
Fry on both sides until golden brown.
Cover with a lid slightly ajar,
and simmer until chops are tender & cooked through.
