ASIAN ORANGE CHICKEN & RICE

I haven’t tried this recipe yet, but I think it would be very simple to prepare on a busy night!
If you try it, let us know what you think.

YOU WILL NEED:

1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
1/2 cup KRAFT Asian Toasted Sesame Dressing
1/2 cup orange juice
 3 cups frozen stir-fry vegetables
3 cups hot cooked long-grain rice
1/4 cup chopped cashews or other nut

 DIRECTIONS:

HEAT large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat. Add chicken; stir-fry 5 to 7 min. or until cooked through. STIR in dressing and juice. Bring to boil & simmer until sauce has thickened. Add vegetables; cook 5 to 7 min. or until heated through, stirring occasionally. SERVE over rice. Sprinkle with nuts.

* Shortcut For added convenience, substitute a prepared packaged microwaveable rice side dish for the cooked long-grain rice.

      Hi Rosalie,
Once you have prepared the chicken with egg wash & then rolled it in the flour/cornstarch mixture, you must fry the chicken in Oil. You can use a Fry Daddy like I use, a deep skillet or a wok filled with oil. Once the Chicken is golden brown, clean the oil out of your skillet or wok. Heat it up again, add the Orange Sauce to the wok or skillet, thicken it and then add your Crispy chicken.ReplyCancel
