If you have ever pulled up a chair and browsed this blog at all,
then you already know . . .
Rhodes Rolls plays the leading role, on many posts.
Well . . . a while ago, I was asked to be a guest blogger at Rhodes Rolls.
Did I accept . . . heck yes!
Remember the fabulous Rhodes Rolls New Cookbook Give-a-way that I hosted a while back? Rhodes sent me two of their Fabulous New Cookbooks: Home Baked Family Favorites. I was to keep one, and give the other away – which I faithfully did.
Rhodes asked, If I would be willing to choose recipes from this new Cookbook . . . actually prepare them . . . and post step by step pictures on their website: Rhodes Bake-N-Serv Blog.
For my first guest post, I made sinfully delicious Apple Fritters.
If you would like the tutorial on making mini or doughnut size Apple Fritters . . . head on over pronto!

Mmmmm……..apple fritters are my favorite! Can’t wait to check them out!
Yayaya!! Your post turned out fabulous! Way to go 🙂 I’m not a huge apple fritter fan, but after looking at all of your yummy delicious photos I may just have to try this recipe out. Looks SO good!!! I’m giving away the cookbook now! Great job friend!
I LOVE apple fritters! I have never looked for a recipe (not sure why!) – thanks for sharing this!
Ah-ha! Finally I can give YOU a tip instead of me always reading tips from you. Try using the apple slicer THEN peeling skin from the apple slices. I find it much easier to peel the apples that way. Try it and see what you think!
I checked out your guest post on the Rhodes Bake ‘N Serve blog, and those fritters look delicious! On a side not, I read your bio, and I must say that you look MUCH too young to have four grown, married children; much less be grandmother to eight! =)
Thank You Kathy!
I wondered could you not put as much filling in and then fold it over in a half moon shape? Or would the apples fall out?
Hi Leslie,
It will work, they will just be smaller. If you are going to fold your circle over, you won’t want to use as much apple mixture. Make sure that you cut your apple pieces very small, and seal the edges tightly. They are yummy!
