Category Archives: DESSERTS The other day, two of my favorite people knocked on my door. Adria & Michelle left me with a very delicious treat. Once this delectable bar was gone, I quickly sent a text out for the recipe. This sweet little bar was not only scrumptious, but was also pretty enough to sit and “shine” inside a bakery window.  I made something yummy today. Dangerous! If you have twenty minutes to assemble and thirty minutes to bake, you will have something pretty & delicious!  Pepperidge Farm Mixed Berry Baskets – Puff Pastry, glazed berries and whipped cream. What more can you ask for! A while ago, Pepperidge Farm contacted me and asked if I wanted to take on their Puffection™ Springtime Entertaining Challenge. Since the challenge involved puff pastry, I jumped in with both feet!  Sinfully Delicious Desserts, is exactly what this Cookbook promises. Apple Crisp on its own is fabulous, but orange juice glazed apples and apricots pulled me in!  Spring has sprung somewhere. I swear with all the diets and advice bombarding us, we should all be size perfect! I really don’t feel that we’re on a fair playing field anymore. Lips are stung like bees, boobs are plumped & perky and butts are sucked & tucked. What is perfect? A bite of this pie. That’s what.  On my left is misery. On my right is sweet heaven. My left contact is for monovision, or up close reading. My right contact is fitted for distance. It took a while to adjust and at times I still fill as if I’m on a boat, rocking back and forth. My left side is cluttered…  It’s Valentine’s Day. I like it. I like it because we’ve always kept it simple. I like it because we’ve always kept it easy. I like it because we’ve always kept it real.
