I love this Dessert, because you can change the puddings, and create something different every time. (Read bottom of post.) I don’t know anyone who doesn’t like this. It will be gobbled up in a jiffy!
Huckleberry, Raspberry, Strawberry, Chocolate, Pistachio or Lemon Lush Dessert.
YOU WILL NEED:
1 Cup Flour
1/2 Cup melted margarine or butter
1/2 C. crushed nuts (almonds or walnuts)
heaping 1/4 C. powdered Sugar
Press into 9×13″ pan–crust will be quite thin.
I double this recipe for a thicker crust.
Bake at 350 until golden brown.
8 oz. Cream cheese
6 oz. Cool Whip
1 Cup powdered sugar
Blend together and spread over the cooled crust.
1 package Danish junket (strawberry or raspberry
prepared as package directions for pie glaze or pudding
1/4 cup huckleberries
1 cup raspberries or strawberries (cut in slices)
Add berries after the sauce is cool. Spread over the cream cheese mixture. Top with Cool Whip, nuts or chocolate curls. Refrigerate for a couple of hours before serving.
You Can also substitute 1 lg. pkg. of instant Milk Chocolate or pistachio pudding mix, mixed with 2/3 C. milk in place of the junket & berries, or you can use instant lemon pudding, to make LEMON LUSH… for another outstanding dessert!
