I’ve found them in the flour.
They’re crawling in the sugar.
I even found them in the Peanut Butter!
What to do . . . What to do?
If you don’t have any Bed Bugs in your house,
Here’s what you’ll need to do.
Just gather all of these items:
I forgot the Chow Mein Noodles in the picture.
My bed bugs have legs.
Butter the sides & bottom of a large saucepan.
Turn the heat to medium/low.
Into the saucepan . . . add the sugar and butter.
Pour in the milk and the Cocoa powder.
You must stir and stir and stir and stir constantly … over a medium low heat. You want all of that sugar to dissolve completely.
Make sure you’re using a heat-proof spatula or a wooden spoon.
Stir and bring the mixture to a rolling boil.
Once it’s there, start the timer for a minute and thirty seconds. That’s all!!!!
Take off the heat and stir in the vanilla and the coconut.
Stir in the Oatmeal . . . mix well.
Add 1/2 cup of crunchy or smooth peanut butter.
Stir until the peanut butter is melted and all the ingredients are mixed throughout.
This is delicious! I could just eat it by the spoonful . . . right from the hot pan. It’s like warm fudge at this point. You must resist and move on!
Note: It will seem a bit runny for a minute or two…but it sets up quickly.
Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper, waxed paper or a silpat. Drop small mounds onto a cookie sheet. I used a small scoop. (The size that is perfect for mini cupcakes) You could also make your bugs bodies larger.
I used red Sixlets and cinnamon Jelly Belly’s for the Bugs eyes. You could also use mini m&m’s, or a dozen other types of candies as well. Green eyes would also taste wonderful.
There’s something missing . . . yes . . . it’s the legs. Originally, I intended to use black string licorice for the critters legs. Think again!
This town just doesn’t seem to carry string licorice. There is something WRONG with that. The story of my life is to improvise, and so I did just that.
Chow mein noodles! I could have dipped each noodle into some dark chocolate, but I was MUCH too lazy! Do that if you like.
It will just take you a couple of hours or so.
I even found one of these Bed Bugs . . . in my bed last night. It cuddled up with me for a minutes . . . then I ATE him!Your little ghosts and goblins would also love to have Bed Buds in your house. Make some today! I been working on a Rhode’s Roll post that will aire next week. This house has had snakes and creeping caterpillars as well. I do believe that some of these BUGS have infested my blog aswell. I’ve had a devil of a time posting this!
